About Joy Psychology

Our Philosophy


At Joy Psychology, we prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space for our clients. We aim to work collaboratively with out clients on their identified goals, at their own pace. We hope to empower clients to prioritize their health, supporting them in living more fulfilling lives. The core values we believe in are empathy, compassion and non-judgmental acceptance. 

Meet Dr. Prabh Parmar, Psy.D., RPsych.

Psychologist and Clinical Director

 Dr. Prabh Parmar, is a Registered Psychologist, and Founder and Clinical Director of Joy Psychology. She holds a doctoral degree in psychology.

  

Dr. Parmar is a dedicated psychologist with a strong commitment to providing holistic, evidence-based care. With over 10 years of experience in the field, she integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches to support individuals on their unique journey toward growth and well-being. Dr. Parmar also provides virtual assessments. Her practice is grounded in a deep respect for cultural diversity, and she strives to create a safe and supportive environment for all clients. She believes in empowering individuals to understand themselves better, overcome challenges, and develop the tools necessary for lasting positive change.
